The Story of Maritime Life On The Treasure Coast

The sweep of the wood grain against the current, the power of the motor propelling the skiff through the open sea, the tug on the fishing line, the sparkle in the wake of the sleek craft on its way to port… The romance of boats and boating are an integral part of the Treasure Coast, where break-through advances in seamanship were created and where the rich system of waterways continues to beckon boat lovers from near and far. The Maritime and Classic Boat Museum celebrates boating history and culture on the Treasure Coast and around the world. It is now poised to move full throttle into the creation of expanded interactive exhibits, the construction of the Restoration Workshop, and the eventual development of a campus that will both preserve the past and open up the future to boat lovers.

Mission

The Maritime and Classic Boat Museum was established in 1993 as a non-profit community organization and opened its doors to the public in 1995. It is devoted to the collection, preservation, restoration and interpretation of the maritime and boating history on the Treasure Coast.
