A stunned dad won £10,000 from a 20-fold football accumulator with a stake of just 63p.
Adam Osbourne, 22, revealed his dad’s incredible win of £10,608.16 following a bet over the weekend.
He tweeted: “My dad was ready to close his account and put his last 63p on this.”
Adam, a semi-pro footballer who used to play in Wolves’ youth-team set-up and last played for Worcester City, also posted a video showing the moment his dad won and shrieked in joy as he celebrated.
The thrilled son described the win as “madness” in response to congratulatory messages.
Adam shared the string of successes from his dad’s bet on Twitter.
Espanyol’s 2-1 win against Leganes in LaLiga on Sunday night was the final bet to come in before his dad cashed out on the huge win.
One follower commented on Adam’s tweet saying “fair play ozz about time you had a bit of luck ay?” to which he replied: “You’re right there mate if he gives me a little drink out of it.”
Another tweeted: “I don’t understand betting but that looks like A RETURN.”
Others couldn’t believe it and described it as “mad”.
The dad’s accumulator included wins for Manchester United against Tottenham, Arsenal at Sheffield United and Rangers versus Hibernian in English and Scottish top-flight games.
